GLP-1 Weight Management Care Is Now Available
GLP-1 medications have become an increasingly discussed option for weight management and metabolic health.
Oregon Telemed now offers a provider-guided GLP-1 weight management program for eligible patients who are physically located in Oregon at the time of their appointment.
The current program offers a compounded sublingual tirzepatide option, when prescribed and clinically appropriate.
Treatment begins with a virtual medical evaluation. Your provider reviews your health history, medications, goals, potential risks, and whether treatment may be appropriate for you.
If prescribed, the standard starting program may include:
- A virtual GLP-1 medical evaluation
- Approximately a 60-day supply of compounded sublingual tirzepatide
- Medication delivery
- Pharmacy support through Broadway Apothecary
- A one-month treatment check-in
- Ongoing provider follow-up when appropriate
Medication is not guaranteed simply by scheduling an appointment. Treatment is prescribed only when a medical provider determines that it is clinically appropriate.
GLP-1 Program Pricing
Getting started: pricing starts at $475 for the first 60 days, or approximately $238 per month.
A $30 booking deposit is collected when the initial visit is scheduled and applied toward that first 60-day cost. It is not an additional fee.
For patients doing well on the standard maintenance plan, ongoing care starts at approximately $195 per month, or about $390 every 60 days.
Individual treatment needs, additional visits, laboratory testing, or medication changes may affect the total cost.

Medication Refill Visits Through Telehealth
Running out of a routine medication can create an unnecessary disruption in care.
For some medications and health conditions, a telehealth evaluation may be an appropriate way to review a refill request without requiring an in-person visit.
During a refill visit, an Oregon Telemed provider may review your current medication, medical history, recent symptoms, treatment response, and any safety considerations before deciding whether a refill is appropriate.
Not every medication or situation can be managed through telehealth, and prescription requests are evaluated individually.
If additional testing, an in-person examination, or ongoing care with another healthcare provider is needed, your Oregon Telemed provider can help explain the appropriate next step.
Non-Urgent Telehealth Visits
Not every health concern requires a trip to an emergency department or urgent care clinic.
Oregon Telemed provides virtual evaluation for a range of non-emergency medical concerns, depending on the individual situation.
Patients may use telehealth for concerns such as respiratory symptoms, minor skin problems, urinary symptoms, digestive concerns, medication questions, follow-up needs, and other conditions that can often be initially evaluated through a virtual visit.
Your provider will review your symptoms and help determine the next appropriate step.
If your condition requires an in-person examination, diagnostic testing, imaging, emergency care, or another level of treatment, your provider can recommend that you seek the appropriate in-person care.
Telehealth is designed to improve access, not replace emergency or in-person care when those services are medically necessary.
